Hi Rita,

I was able to take a look this evening and discovered that the Joomslide plugin is causing your problem. I disabled it and the popups work as they should.

I re-enabled the joomlslide plugin before I logged off so you will need to disable it yourself to try it.

Ken - very many thanks for your help - I'd certainly not have been able to come out of this myself.
(and thanks for having removed the login)
So to recap: the popups get managed only via the highslide Expander - no Joomslide Plugin or Highslide Component are needed.
Very many thanks indeed - kind regards
Rita

Hi Rita,

You need the Highslide Component to enable you to make configuration changes to highslide. The HsExpander is needed to create the actual thumbnail/popup in your articles.

The Joomslide plugin is designed to scan your article content and automatically change any images into highslide thumbnail/popups without you having to manually change them. That is why you were ending up with a malformed link because joomslide was detecting the image and adding an anchor tag to an image that already had an anchor tag defined.
