hi guys,

totally newbie here. i successfully integrate gallery from specific directory using this

Code:
{_imageloader dirpath="images\products\woods" outputtemplate="plugins/content/imageloader/templates/highslidetemplate.txt" group=gallery1 hideoption=0}


how ever i just noticed that Caption depend on the filename of files inside the said directory, can i have cutomize caption for each file such as

wood.jpg = Wood
wood1.jpg = PlyWood
wood2.jpg= Lumber

hope you can help me.

I just solved it by modifying attributes of the file and by following this in local XAMPP hosting.



But, when I upload to my web hosting, the caption goes back to filename-based. How can I use a proper caption for each image?

Please help.

Hi,

Imageloader tries to resolve caption information from the image's IPTC and EXIF meta data. It could be that your server's version of PHP doesn't include support for EXIF data however it should support IPTC if you are using PHP version 4 or 5.

What version of PHP is you webserver using?

Hi,

Could you email one of the images that works on your local server but not on your web server? Also, include what caption you see on your local server for that image.
